**Key Responsibilities**
**Group leadership & traveller experience**
You will lead and manage group tours throughout Albania with confidence, professionalism and enthusiasm.
This includes:
- Creating a fun, inclusive and social group environment
- Helping travellers connect with each other and local culture
- Supporting travellers throughout their journey and being a reliable point of contact
- Delivering exceptional customer service and memorable experiences
- Ensuring travellers feel safe, comfortable and looked after at all times
- Bringing positive energy to the group, even during challenging situations
**Cultural experiences & destination knowledge**
You will help travellers experience Albania in an authentic and engaging way.
This includes:
- Sharing cultural, historical and local insights throughout the tour
- Introducing travellers to Albanian traditions, cuisine and local customs
- Recommending local restaurants, activities, beaches and hidden gems
- Creating experiences that feel immersive, exciting and meaningful
- Helping travellers better understand the destinations they visit
**Tour operations & coordination**
You will manage the day-to-day logistics that keep the trip running smoothly.
This includes:
- Coordinating transportation, accommodations and activity schedules
- Managing daily itineraries and ensuring the group stays on track
- Communicating effectively with hotels, drivers, suppliers and activity providers
- Handling unexpected changes, delays or operational issues calmly and efficiently
- Completing basic administrative tasks including attendance, expense tracking and incident reporting
**Brand representation & standards**
You are a key representative of the TruTravels brand on the ground.
This includes:
- Upholding TruTravels values and customer experience standards
- Acting professionally and responsibly at all times
- Building strong relationships with local partners and suppliers

**Requirements**
- Legal right to live and work in Albania
- Fluent in English
- Previous experience as a Tour Guide, Trip Leader, or within the travel/hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of Albanian culture, history, destinations and local customs
- Confident leading groups in busy and fast-paced environments
- Highly organised with strong problem-solving abilities
- Positive, adaptable and proactive attitude
- Ability to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Comfortable managing group dynamics and customer expectations
- Full driving licence is a plus
- First Aid certification is a plus
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience leading international group tours
- Background in tourism, hospitality or cultural studies
- Familiarity with destinations such as Tirana, Sarandë, Berat, Himarë and Ksamil
- Experience working with young adult, backpacker or adventure-style travel groups
- Additional language skills are a bonus
