**Job:**
SUPPLY CHAIN ASSISTANT
**Job Responsibilities**
- Purchase and Logistics assistant would coordinate and monitor the transfer of goods and materials from manufacturers and suppliers all the way through to customers;
- Well organized, a good negotiator and can work with people at all levels;
- Need to be a good problem solver and have excellent communication skills;
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers;
- Plan the best way to get goods from suppliers to distribution centers then on to retailers;
- Track shipments and stock levels using computer software;
- Monitor overall performance to make sure targets are being met;
- Prepare forecasts and inventories for reports to the company’s management team;
- Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws;
- Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements;
- Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect
- Analyze information about supplier performance or procurement program success;
- Other tasks by order of the manager or director.
**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree is preferable in Supply Chain Management (or Industrial Logistics);
- Minimum of 1 (one) year work experience;
- Ability to handle multiple tasks;
- Ability to keep clear and concise records;
- Good communication skills oral and verbal (English);
- Effective communication & negotiation skills;
- Sound knowledge of MS-Office package.
