**Role Description**
The Site Civil Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in North Macedonia, responsible for overseeing civil engineering activities related to steel structure projects. Daily tasks include supervising site works, coordinating with project managers and construction teams, and ensuring that civil designs are correctly implemented in accordance with drawings, specifications, and local regulations. The role involves planning and organizing site operations, monitoring progress, managing site documentation, and assisting in resolving technical issues that arise during construction. The Site Civil Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, attend site meetings, and contribute to quality, safety, and environmental compliance. The role also includes communicating with partners and clients, supporting project timelines, and identifying opportunities to optimize construction methods and resource use.
**Qualifications**
- Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills to support structural and infrastructure aspects of steel projects.
- Experience working as Civil Engineers on construction sites, with the ability to coordinate with field teams and stakeholders.
- Planning skills to organize site activities, schedule tasks, and manage resources effectively.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management and related site drainage considerations for industrial and commercial projects.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Experience in steel structure or industrial construction projects is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with relevant European building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in technical drawing interpretation and basic use of design or CAD software.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities, with attention to detail and site safety.
- Ability to work on-site in North Macedonia and travel to project locations as needed.
