**Role Description**
This is a full-time, on-site Travel Agent role based in Tirana, Albania. The Travel Agent will assist clients with planning and booking travel services, including flights, hotels, transfers, car rentals, excursions, and packaged tours for both inbound and outbound travel. Daily tasks include handling inquiries, providing destination information, preparing tailored travel itineraries, managing reservations and changes, and ensuring accurate documentation for each booking. The role involves delivering attentive customer service, resolving issues before and during travel, and proactively suggesting suitable travel options that align with clients’ preferences and budgets. The Travel Agent will also support sales initiatives, follow up on leads, and collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to secure competitive offers and maintain service quality.
**Qualifications**
- Strong travel reservations and booking skills, including experience with Travel Arrangements and coordination of multi-component itineraries.
- Proven Customer Service abilities, with a focus on responsiveness, problem-solving, and clear communication across different customer profiles.
- Experience managing Car Rental services, airport transfers, and other local ground services for individual and group travelers.
- Sales skills, including upselling travel products, converting inquiries into bookings, and working toward revenue and performance targets.
- Good knowledge of major travel destinations, especially Albania, the Balkans, and popular international leisure destinations.
- Ability to work on-site in Tirana, Albania, in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and time management.
- Proficiency with reservation systems and standard office software; experience with DMC or tour operator tools is an advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Albanian and English; additional languages are considered a plus.
- Prior experience in a travel agency, tour operator, or hospitality role preferred; relevant vocational training or degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is an asset.
