We are looking for a
**"Maintenance Team Lead"**
to lead maintenance activities across the Blue 2 photovoltaic plant, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and substation, helping ensure safe, reliable and efficient operations.
**About the role**
You will combine team leadership with hands-on technical work, planning and supervising preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting faults and minimizing production downtime. You will coordinate closely with the Head of O&M, whose review and approval are required for maintenance plans, major technical decisions and operational changes.
**Key responsibilities**
- Plan, coordinate and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance across the photovoltaic plant, BESS and substation.
- Inspect, test and troubleshoot inverters, medium-voltage stations, transformers, LV/MV panels, DC/AC systems, batteries, UPS and auxiliary equipment.
- Inspect PV strings, cables, connectors, fuses and grounding systems, and perform electrical measurements and diagnostic tests.
- Lead the maintenance team, assign priorities, monitor performance and support technical training and development.
- Use SCADA and diagnostic tools to monitor equipment performance, identify faults and improve maintenance planning.
- Ensure compliance with technical standards, manufacturer instructions and health, safety and environmental requirements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare reports on plant availability, equipment condition, incidents and repairs.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and internal teams, and propose improvements to equipment reliability and maintenance practices.
**What we’re looking for**
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Relevant experience in electrical maintenance within photovoltaic plants, energy infrastructure or industrial facilities.
- Experience coordinating maintenance activities and supervising technical teams.
- Strong knowledge of electrical equipment, fault diagnosis, testing and safe working procedures.
- Familiarity with SCADA and maintenance documentation.
- Strong planning, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with BESS and substations would be an advantage.
