**Role Description**
The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial activities, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledger accounts, and preparing routine financial reports. This full-time role is on-site in Tirana and involves reconciling accounts, monitoring cash flow, and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes. The Accountant will assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and financial analysis to help leadership make informed decisions. Responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations, collaborating with internal teams, and supporting audits and process improvements.
**Qualifications**
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
- Experience with account reconciliation, budgeting, and basic financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, including working with spreadsheets and financial models.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English;
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in Tirana, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and handle confidential information responsibly.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, metals, or industrial sectors is an advantage but not required.
