**About the role**
**We are hiring a junior Cloud/DevOps engineer for a paid, 12-month training program. You will help build and operate the infrastructure behind AI-powered applications, working alongside software development and QA trainees with daily mentoring from experienced team leaders.**
**You will learn to create repeatable environments, automate deployments, and keep applications observable and reliable.**
**What you will do**
- Learn to build and maintain environments on AWS.
- Package and run applications using Docker.
- Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform.
- Build CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
- Set up logging, monitoring, and alerts.
- Learn secure access management and handling of application secrets.
- Practise troubleshooting, deployment recovery, and operational documentation.
**Required basics**
- Basic Linux and command-line skills.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP addresses, DNS, and HTTP.
- Familiarity with Git and some exposure to Python or Bash.
- English and Albanian communication skills.
- Availability to work mostly onsite in Tirana throughout the program.
- Coursework and personal labs count. Professional cloud experience and certifications are not required.
**Nice to have**
- A small application deployment or home lab you can discuss.
- Exposure to AWS, Docker, or CI/CD.
- German language skills.
