**Role- Senior .Net Backend Engineer(Contract)**
**Work Mode- Remote**
**Engagement Type: Project-based Assignment; B2B Contract (Outside IR35)**

One of our clients, a leader in Igaming is looking for an experienced .Net Backend Engineering. In this role, you will take ownership of the entire software development lifecycle for your projects. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and implementing both short- and long-term solutions to meet IT needs, working with applications, systems, databases, and infrastructure. You will also actively support team members and contribute to process improvements.
**Key Deliverables-**
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues, ensuring timely resolutions while collaborating with support teams.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain high standards and identify optimization opportunities.
- Mentor junior developers, sharing best practices and providing constructive feedback.
- Architect and design scalable backend systems that support high availability and performance.
- Evaluate and select technologies, frameworks, and design patterns to meet business and technical goals.
- Drive system-level improvements in reliability, observability, and fault tolerance.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Design and implement efficient APIs.
**Ideal Profile-**
- Strong expertise in Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7/4.8.
- Hands-on experience managing on-premises monolithic architectures.
- Proficiency in developing Windows Services.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and Redis.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with RESTful API development.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Grafana.
- Proven experience in system architecture and design for large-scale applications.
- Deep understanding of scalability, performance optimization, and distributed systems.
- Background in Sportsbook systems or the iGaming industry.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Nice to have:
- Exposure to microservices architecture and .NET 8.
