Storm Ideas
/job-details/9634
**Why Us?**
- 💰 Up to €24,000 per year, full time permanent employee
- 🌎 Fully remote with required availability from 9:00–18:00 CET/CEST
- 🏖️ Paid time off and benefits
- 🎬 Working with globally recognisable entertainment and media brands across German-speaking and international markets
- ✨ An account support role with AI agents, skills and smarter workflows at the centre of how work gets done
- 💻 High-end, fast computer and all the latest software and AI tools you'll need
**Note - it is essential you are either fluent/near-fluent in German**
**About the Role**
Storm is an AI-native agency. AI tools and agentic workflows are central to how our teams work, and we hire people who want to work that way from day one.
As an AI-First Account Executive, you will support Account Managers and client teams by turning client priorities, agreed direction and account context into clear action. You will help keep delegated work moving: tracking follow-ups, preparing updates, coordinating information, checking quality, supporting client communication, and making sure the people around you know what is happening and what needs to happen next.
This is a German-speaking role. Native or near-native spoken and written German is required, and you need to move confidently between English internal communication and German client or community-facing work. That means understanding nuance, tone, grammar and cultural context, not just translating words from one language to another.
We're not talking about using AI as a search box or an autocomplete. The person we're looking for treats AI as a capable pair of hands. They delegate whole pieces of work, not just questions. They review what comes back with a sharp, critical eye. And they keep refining how they brief and direct it, so the quality compounds. If you read that and thought "that's just how I work now," this role is built for you.
You'll learn the ground first: how our account teams work, what strong client support looks like, and the quality bar for clear client updates, well-structured account workflows, audience-ready German communication and reliable follow-through. Then you'll work from Storm's stack of AI and creative tools, and play a real part in improving how this role gets done.
**About Storm Ideas**
Founded in 2008, Storm Ideas is an international team working with globally recognised clients across entertainment, media, technology and online communities.
Our work sits at the intersection of media, technology, creativity, and operations. We build products, produce content at scale, design smarter ways for clients and internal teams to work, and keep looking for new ways to improve how the company operates.
We are a remote-first, fast-moving company with established clients, a growing team, and a strong appetite for better tools, better systems, and better ways of working. AI is central to how we operate — every team, every role, this one included.
**What You'll Make Happen**
- Support Account Managers and client teams with delegated client tasks, account priorities, workflows and coordination needs, with AI tools and agentic workflows as your default way of working, not an afterthought.
- Turn client requests, Account Manager direction and account context into clear tasks, updates, handovers, next steps or questions for the right people.
- Keep delegated work organised and visible: actions, deadlines, decisions, approvals, blockers, status updates, tracker fields and follow-ups should be clear enough that others can trust what is happening.
- Communicate promptly and clearly with Account Managers, collaborators and clients where appropriate, especially when work is time-sensitive or when a delay, missing detail or unclear owner could affect the client experience.
- Move easily between English and German work: understand English internal context, produce natural German client or community-facing communication, and judge instantly when language sounds accurate, useful and culturally right.
- Own repeatable account workflows and delegated account processes, using AI and better workflows to improve speed, structure, reliability and quality over time.
- Build client, service and strategy understanding so you can use stronger judgement, spot risks early and escalate with clear context, options and evidence when senior input is needed.
- Coordinate stakeholders professionally when feedback, assets, approvals, decisions or commitments are missing or late.
- Check your own work carefully before handing it over, including a sharp, critical review of anything AI touched.
- Keep improving how the work gets done: encode your best methods into reusable skills and workflows that agents and teammates can pick up and run, and teach what works so the whole team levels up with you.
**Your Expertise**
- Native or near-native spoken and written German is required, plus strong written English and the ability to move between English internal context and German client or community-facing outputs that feel natural, accurate and audience-appropriate.
- Clear, professional client communication: you know how to give useful status updates, ask focused questions, flag risks early and avoid vague or confusing messages.
- Demonstrable, hands-on use of AI tools and AI agents in your real work, studies or personal projects: genuine capability, not just curiosity.
- Strong judgement when reviewing AI output against the brief, context, audience, language quality and client need. You never treat AI output as finished work by default.
- A systems thinker: you see repeatable work as a workflow to design and improve, not a list of tasks to grind through.
- High agency and ownership: comfortable taking delegated work forward, spotting what needs doing, and driving improvements to completion, not just proposing them.
- Strong prioritisation in a remote, async environment, including knowing when something is time-sensitive and when a small delay needs to be communicated.
- Good technical adaptability: you can learn new tools, trackers, documentation systems, AI workflows and client processes quickly, and you troubleshoot before escalating.
- Strong attention to detail, held at speed: you check your work carefully before handover and keep quality high even when work is moving quickly.
- Curiosity about media, entertainment, creators, online communities and how client work gets delivered at scale.
**What It's Like To Work Here**
**Modern Tools & A Real AI Stack**
We do not expect you to make do with outdated tools while talking about innovation. Storm has an AI Operations team, approved tools, practical workflows and a strong appetite for better ways of working.
**Your Methods Can Become How The Team Works**
We actively encourage people to bring forward better ways of working. When a method you develop proves itself, you won't just use it quietly: you'll encode it as a skill others can run, teach it to the team, and watch it become the new standard, with your name on it.
**Team-Based, International, Remote-First**
You'll be part of an international team of 175+ people. We work remotely, communicate clearly, and rely on people who can keep work visible without needing to sit in the same room.
**Remote-First & Flexible**
This role is fully remote. You will need to work reliably from 9:00–18:00 CET/CEST so you can support German-speaking work and collaborate with UK/EU-based teammates and clients. Final country-specific details will be confirmed before publishing.
**Recruitment Process**
- Apply in English with your CV and any work you want to show us. It's optional but would be a bonus! Anything you think might be relevant.
- Shortlisted applicants will answer a set of self-recorded video questions. We will use these to understand how you think, how you communicate, and how you already work with AI.
- Next, you will meet with the recruitment team or account leadership. We will talk through your experience, working style, German/English communication, client judgement, and how you approach remote, async work.
- You will then complete a short, time-boxed practical task built around a realistic account support brief. We'll ask you to show your working, including how you used AI to get it done. Your method interests us as much as your output.
- The final stage is a second interview with a senior leader.
Not sure you tick every box? Apply anyway if this sounds like how you already work. We're more interested in your judgement, your communication, your language quality, and how you work with AI than in a perfect traditional CV.
