**Financial Analyst**
**We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst**
with minimum 1 year of relevant experience to join our Finance team.
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day financial operations of the business as well as financial analysis, reporting and control activities. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working across different areas of finance, takes ownership of their work, and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.
Our Finance team works with a flexible and collaborative approach. Responsibilities are not limited to one specific process, and team members are expected to support and cover each other when required to ensure continuity, accuracy and timely completion of financial activities.
**Key Responsibilities**
**The role may include, but is not limited to:**
- Supporting daily and monthly finance and accounting activities.
- Preparing and reviewing sales, purchase and payment information.
- Performing bank, cash, customer and supplier reconciliations.
- Monitoring accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Supporting customer balance follow-up and supplier account reviews.
- Reviewing financial transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness and correct classification.
- Supporting month-end closing activities and ensuring required information is completed within agreed deadlines.
- Preparing regular financial and management reports.
- Analyzing revenue, costs, gross profit, margins and business performance.
- Supporting cash flow reporting and forecasting.
- Performing variance and trend analysis and identifying unusual movements or discrepancies.
- Working with operational and commercial teams to investigate and resolve financial differences.
- Maintaining accurate financial data and supporting improvements in financial controls.
- Using Excel and financial systems to analyze information and improve reporting efficiency.
- Supporting the Finance team across different processes and responsibilities according to workload and business priorities.
- Contributing to process improvements, automation and more efficient ways of working.
**Requirements**
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
- Previous experience in finance, accounting, financial analysis or a similar role.
- **Very good command of English**

- **Very good Microsoft Excel skills**
and confidence working with large amounts of financial data.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize priorities and work within deadlines.
- Ability and willingness to learn different financial processes rather than focusing on only one area.
- Experience with accounting or ERP systems; experience with Xero would be an advantage.
