**About the Role**
As a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that power our applications. You’ll work closely with development teams to ensure smooth deployments, high availability, and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage AWS infrastructure including VPC, subnets, security groups, and networking best practices
- Deploy and orchestrate containerized applications using Docker and Amazon ECS (Fargate/EC2)
- Manage and optimize Amazon RDS databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) for performance, backups, and high availability
- Configure Application Load Balancer (ALB) for traffic routing, SSL termination, and auto-scaling
- Implement global content delivery with Amazon CloudFront and optimize caching strategies
- Build and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and related services
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, costs, and reliability
- Collaborate with developers to improve deployment processes and application architecture
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–3 years of hands-on DevOps experience
- Strong expertise in AWS (ECS, Docker, VPC, RDS, ALB, CloudFront, CodeBuild, CodePipeline)
- Solid experience with Docker containerization for Java and NodeJS apps
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline development and best practices
- Good understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure fundamentals
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK or Terraform is a plus)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Nice-to-Haves
- Knowledge of Kubernetes (AWS EKS)
- Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Scripting skills (Bash, Python)
- Familiarity with GitOps practices
