**Examples of Duties**
Under immediate supervision, patrols and guards government-owned property. Monitors the facility security system. Assesses security alarms and breaches and determines and activates the appropriate response. Documents security incidents, violations, and suspicious behaviors. Prepares reports. Ensures all security incidents are addressed promptly and efficiently. Communicates security matters with appropriate authorities. Utilizes electronic communications equipment. Enforces regulations. Interacts with and provides direction for members of the public. Performs other job-related duties as required.
**Minimum Qualifications**
High School Diploma or GED required. An Ohio Peace Officer Training Certificate required. (Substitution: Two years of full-time paid experience in Security work may be substituted for certificate.) Must be computer proficient. Valid State of Ohio Driver's License is required.
