**Purpose / Summary**
As the
**R&D Product Engineering Intern**
you will support the development and evaluation of innovative products by assisting with scientific research, engineering design activities, and product testing. This role involves working closely with engineers to contribute to ongoing projects, including preparing and managing samples, supporting laboratory testing, maintaining accurate data records, and helping analyze and document test results.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain engineering databases, records, and tracking systems.
- Order, receive, and manage samples for engineering evaluations.
- Process and prepare samples for lab testing and product evaluations.
- Work closely with R&D engineers to support development projects and product trials.
- Assist in laboratory testing activities, including setup, execution, and recording of test results.
- Document and analyze product test results, compiling data for engineering review.
- Provide administrative and technical support for engineering projects as assigned.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Support product evaluation activities, including preparation of reports and summaries.
**Required Qualifications & Skills**
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and safety practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
