Jupiter BPO is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Lighting Specifier / Designer to join our dynamic team!
For this role, you will be supporting our partner, an architectural lighting agency based in the USA. If you are passionate about lighting design, capable of working proactively and autonomously, and enjoy being part of a collaborative environment, we would love to hear from you.

**Role Overview**
As a Lighting Specifier / Designer, you will be a key technical support for architectural, interior design, and engineering projects. You will ensure that design intent and project requirements are met through thoughtful lighting, specification, and documentation. This role requires a blend of creative and technical expertise, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
**Key Responsibilities**
Develop lighting layouts, technical calculations, and specifications for a variety of project types.
Perform photometric calculations and lighting analysis, generating end-user reports using AGI32.
Prepare detailed lighting plans, details, and documentation using CAD software.
Collaborate with sales teams, architects, designers, and engineers to ensure technical requirements are met.
Assist with luminaire selection, controls strategies, and energy code compliance.
Review submittals, shop drawings, and mockups for accuracy and compliance.
Manage time effectively to address multiple projects and deadlines in a remote environment.
Stay current with lighting technologies, controls, and industry trends.
**Qualifications**
- 2–5 years of professional experience in lighting design, specification, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required.
- Working knowledge of AGI32 and CAD (AutoCAD or similar) is a must.
- Understanding of the manufacturer representative agency world and specification-driven sales processes.
- Excellent time management abilities with a proven track record of working efficiently under pressure.
- Strong administrative skills with great attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work proactively and independently, as well as part of a team.
- Lighting Certified (LC) credential or experience with 3D rendering (Revit, Enscape, etc.) is a plus.
