We are looking for a Functional Consultant – Microsoft Business Central to join our team and help businesses get the most out of their ERP systems.
In this role, you will work closely with clients and internal teams to understand business needs, improve processes, and deliver practical Business Central solutions. You will act as the link between business requirements and technical implementation, working alongside developers and project teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Key responsibilities:
- Understand and analyse clients’ business processes and requirements.
- Translate business needs into effective Microsoft Business Central solutions.
- Configure and optimize Business Central based on client requirements.
- Work with clients to identify process improvements and opportunities for automation.
- Prepare functional specifications and solution documentation.
- Collaborate with developers and technical teams during implementation.
- Support projects from requirements gathering through testing and go-live.
- Perform functional testing and validate delivered solutions.
- Support data migration and integrations.
- Conduct user training, workshops, and product demonstrations.
- Provide functional support and help resolve user issues.
- Stay up to date with Business Central updates, features, and best practices.
What we are looking for:
- Experience as a Functional Consultant, ERP Consultant, Business Analyst, or in a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Good understanding of ERP systems and business processes.
- Knowledge of areas such as Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, or Warehouse Management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand business requirements and turn them into practical solutions.
- Comfortable working with both business users and technical teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Good command of English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
- Experience with Business Central implementation or upgrade projects.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, or other Microsoft Power Platform tools.
- Experience with Business Central integrations and APIs.
- Experience with data migration.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification.
