**X-IDENTITY HAS SEVERAL OPENINGS.**
This post is for the Software Engineer role. If this role does not match your current experience level, you can view our other openings at

We review every application. Link in our Instagram bio as well, @we\_are\_xidentity.

X-Identity authors architecture and makes the images that carry it. We also build the tools that make that work possible, and that is the seat on offer.
There is a seat open for a Software Engineer in our Tirana studio. Full-time, on-site.
You would be the only engineer among artists. Everything you ship is used within a week by people sitting ten metres away, and you know by the next morning whether it worked. Our ethos is simple: own your tools.
Six of them are yours on day one. A 360° virtual tour platform in Three.js, the studio's project app in Node and TypeScript, a Photoshop plugin running image models natively, a photo to 3D app on ComfyUI, a conversational image editor, and a 3ds Max plugin for Corona and V-Ray, with the Linux infrastructure and the 3ds Max and AutoCAD bridges under all of it. Two are in active development. Four are running and need maintenance rather than invention.
We are not counting your years. Send a CV and a link to one thing you built that other people actually use, plus a short paragraph about a time an AI agent produced plausible but wrong code and how you caught it. Write it yourself. Polishing it with AI is fine.
**What we are actually testing for:**
- Whether you read an unfamiliar codebase and its documentation before you change it.
- Whether you can explain, line by line, code an agent wrote for you, and say plainly when you would reject it.
- Whether you measure. A claim that something got faster, with no number before and after, is an opinion.
**What you need:**
strong JavaScript and TypeScript, in the browser and in Node, and Python. Real 3D depth, either WebGL and Three.js or scripting inside 3ds Max, Blender, Maya or Houdini. Linux you can run on your own, with no platform team behind you. And daily use of AI coding agents, with the judgement to reject what they give you.
**Useful, not required:**
pymxs and MAXScript, Corona and V-Ray, AutoCAD .NET and C#, Adobe UXP, ComfyUI and diffusion models, LLM APIs and MCP, Docker, Playwright, and a background in architecture or visualization.
**What you get:**
- Full ownership. No product managers, no committee, and no legacy platform to inherit. You report to the Studio Director and decisions get made in the room.
- Studio-funded AI tooling, including Claude Code, and hardware built for running models locally.
- Honesty about the seat: nobody here will review your code line by line, which is exactly why the three tests above are the ones that matter.
- A studio that turns down briefs.
- A studio building with AI, not hiding from it.
- A studio working with global clients in sports, retail, hospitality and entertainment.
