***About the Job***
Telelink Infra Services Albania is looking for a Project Manager – to lead and coordinate the design of new fiber optic network investments.
The role will oversee the planning and design process, ensuring technical accuracy, quality and timely delivery while coordinating with engineers, contractors and other stakeholders.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or related technical background, experience in fiber optic network design, and advanced AutoCAD skills, which are mandatory.
***Key Responsibilities***
- Lead and coordinate the design of new fiber optic network investments.
- Prepare, review and validate technical designs for fiber optic infrastructure.
- Develop and review network layouts, routes, technical drawings and related documentation.
- Coordinate design activities from the initial requirements through to the final approved design.
- Ensure designs comply with technical specifications, company standards and applicable regulations.
- Work closely with engineering teams, Project Managers, contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders.
- Analyze technical requirements and identify the most appropriate design solutions.
- Coordinate site information and ensure that field conditions are properly reflected in the designs.
- Review quantities, technical documentation and materials required for network deployment.
- Monitor design progress, deadlines and deliverables.
- Identify technical issues, risks and potential design changes and ensure timely resolution.
- Review and approve design documentation and drawings before submission or implementation.
- Coordinate revisions and updates to designs based on project requirements or field conditions.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation throughout the design process.
- Prepare regular updates and reports regarding design progress and pending activities.
- Support the implementation and successful delivery of new fiber optic network investments.
***Requirements***
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics, Civil Engineering or a related technical field.
- Previous experience in fiber optic network design, telecommunications infrastructure or a similar technical role.
- Experience in coordinating technical activities and/or projects.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of fiber optic networks, infrastructure and deployment principles.
- Ability to read, understand and prepare technical drawings and network documentation.
- Good understanding of technical specifications, quantities and construction/design documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively with engineers, contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to technical accuracy.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Good command of English.
- MS Office proficiency.
