A well-established international company operating in the mining and metals processing industry is looking for an experienced professional to join its team in the position of:
Budget and Reporting Manager
Vacant position: Budget and Reporting Manager
Number of Vacant Position: 1 (one)
Place of Work: Tirana Office
**Detyrat**
- Lead and manage the preparation, consolidation, and presentation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Ensure financial reports and budget data are accurate, timely, and IFRS-compliant.
- Manage the transition process from statutory accounting to IFRS.
- Preparing and reviewing the reports in line with IFRS and local accounting standards and supporting compliance process.
- Provide supporting documentation for the reliability of IFRS reports during internal and external audit processes.
- Contributing to the effective use of reporting systems.
- Monitor actual expenditures and revenues against approved budgets, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, including budget variance and cash flow analyses.
- Develop quarterly and mid-year forecasts to update management on financial outlooks.
- Provide detailed financial analyses to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Identify risks, propose internal control improvements, and perform scenario and sensitivity analyses.
- Analyze cost structures, profitability, and efficiency at organizational and project levels.
- Conduct financial modeling to evaluate investments, projects, and business opportunities.
- Act as a financial partner to business units, ensuring alignment of financial plans with organizational strategy.
- Drive process automation and standardization within budgeting and reporting workflows.
- Coordinate internal and external audit processes and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
**Kualifikimet**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s/ MBA preferred).
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) strongly preferred.
- At least 7 years of progressive experience in budgeting, IFRS financial reporting, and accounting, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in mining, metals or other process industries is considered an advantage.
- Strong command of ERP systems, advanced Excel, and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strategic thinking.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- Experience in Big 4 audit firms is a plus.
