**Role Purpose**
Leads the successful delivery of a range of non-formal education projects including Youth Connect and other externally funded projects and programmes as required. Ensures high-quality delivery of projects and programmes from start to finish including managing the contract or project plan, managing client or internal stakeholders, successfully achieving reporting and meeting compliance standards.


**Role Accountabilities**
Relationship & Stakeholder Management



- Build and maintain effective relationships with delivery partners, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
- Procure services and manage delivery partners to support successful programme implementation.
- Hold suppliers accountable for delivering contractual commitments and agreed performance standards.
- Develop strong internal networks and foster cross-functional collaboration.
- Support effective stakeholder engagement to ensure programme objectives are achieved.

Commercial and Financial Management



- Ensure robust financial planning in collaboration with Finance teams.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial year plans aligned with organisational priorities.
- Conduct timely monthly forecasting and reforecasting through regular SAP reporting and financial analysis.
- Monitor expenditure, outstanding purchase orders, and financial commitments.
- Analyse variances against plans and recommend corrective actions where required.
- Ensure expenditure is accurately recorded and compliant with established processes.
- Lead and coordinate client, partner, and organisational reporting requirements, including financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with organisational financial policies, procedures, and governance standards.

Project Management



- Contribute to the development and implementation of Project Management Plans.
- Identify project and programme risks and support the development of effective mitigation strategies.
- Manage procurement, contracting, compliance, and reporting requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure reports submitted by grant recipients, consultants, and external partners are accurate, comprehensive, and of high quality.
- Oversee procurement activities in line with organisational standards and procedures.
- Manage project data, ensuring timely data entry, quality assurance, and accurate record keeping.
- Undertake basic analysis of monitoring data and prepare progress reports to support funding and reporting requirements.
- Support programme-specific data collection activities, including the development of indicators and data collection tools.
- Produce high-quality reports that support evidence-based decision-making and donor compliance.

Business Development



- Support the development of high-quality commercial proposals and funding opportunities.
- Ensure Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) principles are embedded throughout proposal development and programme design.
- Collaborate with relevant business support teams to develop accurate costings and pricing models.
- Ensure timely reporting and communication for externally funded contracts, grant-funded initiatives, and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to the identification and development of new business opportunities.

- Degree and/or equivalent experience

**Professional Qualification and Certification**

- Project management or equivalent qualification or equivalent work experience

**Essentials**
**Work Experience**

- Experience of managing projects from start to finish and familiarity with project life cycles.
- Understanding of procurement, evaluation and reporting requirements of projects.
- Proven experience of managing project finances.
- Experience of managing stakeholders
- Project management qualification desirable.
- More than 2 years working in project or programme management.
- Experience of using technology in project delivery.
- Good understanding and experience of supporting monitoring and evaluation

**Desirable**

- Experience and understanding of the youth skills and/or the international development sectors.

**Important Information**

- Language requirements: The British Council systems and global processes operate in English. Written and verbal proficiency in English and Albanian is required.
