We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on SAP BTP Integration Suite (IS) Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset — capable of independently resolving complex integration challenges and designing end-to-end integration architectures for new business requirements. This is not a purely advisory role: we expect a professional who gets things done, with a strong sense of ownership, flexibility, and dedication to excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Independently analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex integration issues in SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI/IS).
- Design and architect end-to-end integration solutions for new business requirements, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Develop and maintain integration flows (iFlows) covering batch, scheduled, and real-time scenarios.
- Define and implement best practices, patterns, and governance standards for integration development.
- Work with integration adapters (REST, OData, SFTP, HTTPS, AS2/AS4) and apply advanced message
- transformation techniques (Message Mapping, Groovy scripting).
- Drive CI/CD practices for integration development, including pipeline design, automated testing, and deployment automation on SAP BTP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architects, business analysts, SAP functional consultants) during design, development, testing, and go-live phases.
- Leverage SAP API Management, Event Mesh, and other SAP BTP services to deliver complete integration solutions.
- Support knowledge transfer and mentoring of junior team members.

**Required Skills & Experience**
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP CPI (Cloud Integration) / BTP Integration Suite (IS) — proven ability to work independently on complex scenarios.
- Knowledge of integration adapters (REST, OData, SFTP, HTTPS); AS2/AS4 Adapter experience is a plus.
- Understanding of batch, scheduled, and real-time integration scenarios; Event Mesh experience is an advantage.
- Experience with message transformation (Message Mapping, Groovy scripting, SFTP).
- Familiarity with SAP API Management, SAP BTP services, and Integration Suite capabilities.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and pipelines for SAP BTP development (e.g., SAP Continuous Integration & Delivery service, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) is a strong plus.
- SAP PI/PO background is a plus — ability to migrate or bridge legacy integration scenarios to BTP IS.
- Italian language skills are a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Flexibility, autonomy, and a results-driven attitude with a strong commitment to quality and excellence
