**Experience:**
5+ years
**Employment Type:**
Full-time
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to design and build modern, data-driven applications. You will work across the stack, from responsive React interfaces and scalable Node.js services to enterprise data platforms built on Microsoft Fabric and data lakes. You will also help bring AI-powered features into our products and reporting systems. This role suits someone who enjoys connecting user-facing applications with strong data engineering and practical AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications using React on the frontend and Node.js on the backend.
- Build and manage data pipelines, lakehouses, and warehouses in Microsoft Fabric, including Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2, Notebooks, and OneLake.
- Design and optimize data lake architectures (e.g., Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Delta Lake) for structured and unstructured data.
- Develop data reporting systems and interactive dashboards, including Power BI reports and custom in-app analytics built in React.
- Integrate AI and machine learning capabilities into applications, such as LLM-based features, intelligent search, chatbots, predictive analytics, and automated insights.
- Build and consume RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, ensuring security, performance, and scalability.
- Write efficient SQL and data transformation logic (T-SQL, Spark SQL, PySpark) for reporting and analytics.
- Implement data governance, security, and access controls across data and application layers.
- Collaborate with product managers, data analysts, designers, and other engineers to turn business requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and mentoring of junior developers.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and support deployment to cloud environments (preferably Azure).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in full stack development.
- Strong proficiency in React (hooks, state management such as Redux or Zustand, component design) and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Solid backend experience with Node.js (Express, NestJS, or similar frameworks).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Pipelines, Notebooks, OneLake).
- Experience designing and working with data lakes and lakehouse architectures.
- Proven experience building data reporting systems, dashboards, or analytics platforms (Power BI strongly preferred).
- Practical experience with AI programming, such as integrating LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), prompt engineering, RAG (retrieval-augmented generation), embeddings, and vector databases.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with Python for data processing and AI workloads.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft certifications such as Fabric Analytics Engineer (DP-600), Fabric Data Engineer (DP-700), or Azure Developer (AZ-204).
- Experience with Apache Spark, PySpark, or Databricks.
- Knowledge of AI frameworks and tools such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or Azure AI Foundry.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
- Understanding of data modeling (star schema, dimensional modeling) and semantic models.
- Experience with real-time data processing (Eventstreams, Kafka, or Azure Event Hubs).
- Background in performance tuning for large-scale data and web applications.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ownership mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn and keep up with evolving data and AI technologies.
