**QA and Environment Manager**
**Role Description**
The responsibility of this position includes the development, organization, and supervision of the implementation of quality, food safety, and environmental management systems, in accordance with operational plans, customer requirements, and applicable legislation. The position ensures product quality and integrity through food safety risk assessments, corrective action plans, and internal audits, as well as develops and maintains the environmental management system by promoting sustainable practices and reducing the carbon footprint. The responsibilities also include managing the integrated management system documentation and ensuring compliance with TCCC requirements and
**ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000:2018, and ISO 14001:2015**
standards.
**Role and Responsibilities:**
- Leads, implements, and maintains the Integrated Management System, ensuring compliance with The Coca-Cola Company requirements, ISO standards, and applicable legislation.
- Ensures the implementation and continuous improvement of the
**Quality, Food Safety, and Environmental Management Systems**
, and reviews their effectiveness.
- Manages and updates the relevant documentation, including policies, procedures, Quality Manual, HACCP, and Integrated Management System documentation.
- Ensures compliance with
**ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000:2018, and ISO 14001:2015**
, as well as applicable TCCC requirements and standards.
- Plans, coordinates, and follows up on internal and external audits, serving as a reference point for audits conducted by TCCC, regulatory bodies, and certification organizations.
- Monitors Quality and Food Safety performance, analyzes data and trends, identifies issues, and ensures the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensures product quality and integrity and has the authority to stop production when significant Quality or Food Safety risks are identified.
- Coordinates and collaborates with relevant teams and functions on Quality, Food Safety, Environmental, Health, and Safety matters.
- Monitors compliance with environmental requirements and promotes sustainable practices, supporting the reduction of the company’s environmental impact and carbon footprint.
- Ensures the proper operation and compliance of the wastewater treatment plant with environmental and company requirements, monitoring performance and following up on improvement actions.
- Ensures the implementation of requirements related to water management and water quality control.
- Verifies the compliance of raw material suppliers with applicable company requirements.
- Prepares and presents periodic reports on Quality, Food Safety, and Environmental performance to senior management and ensures timely completion of reporting and documentation requirements
**Skills and Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Food Sciences, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of soft drink manufacturing.
- Knowledge of industry standards for food and beverage product quality, as well as regulatory requirements for food safety and environmental compliance.
- 5 years of experience in Quality Management within the food industry, preferably in soft drinks.
- 4 years of experience in people management and leadership.
- Advanced knowledge of ISO standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of English and Italian.
