**QA Manager**

**Job Purpose**

The position is responsible for developing, organizing, and overseeing the implementation of quality, food safety, and environmental management systems, in line with operational plans, customer expectations, and applicable legislation. The role ensures product quality and integrity through food safety risk assessments, corrective action plans, and internal audits, while also developing and maintaining the environmental management system, promoting sustainable practices and reducing the company's carbon footprint. The position is also responsible for managing the integrated management system documentation and ensuring compliance with TCCC requirements and
**ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000:2018, and ISO 14001:2015**
standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Update and ensure the implementation of the Integrated Management System in compliance with TCCC and OU requirements and ISO 22000:2018, ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 14001:2015 standards, reviewing its effectiveness and reporting results to management.
- Maintain and update company policies, procedures, the Quality Manual, HACCP, and related management system documentation, ensuring compliance with company requirements and applicable legislation.
- Act as the key point of contact for internal and external audits conducted by OU, TCCC, regulatory authorities, and certification bodies, and coordinate audit preparation and follow-up activities.
- Identify and analyze non-conforming products, processes, and results, analyze quality data trends, and initiate, follow up, and close corrective and preventive actions.
- Have the authority to stop production when issues are identified that may compromise product quality, food safety, or product compliance.
- Monitor quality and environmental performance, prepare periodic reports for senior management, and ensure the timely submission of regulatory reports and data in the KOSMOS system.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to quality, food safety, and environmental management, using data analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead and/or participate in HACCP, Environmental, GMP, SVA, Health & Safety, IMCR, and other relevant teams and programs.
- Ensure the implementation of the water management program and the completion of periodic water quality testing in accordance with procedures and parameters established by TCCC.
- Verify and monitor the compliance of raw material suppliers with TCCC and OU requirements and authorizations.
- Ensure that the wastewater treatment plant operates in compliance with environmental requirements and TCCC standards.
- Analyze operational data from the wastewater treatment plant, identify trends and improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions and optimization strategies.

**Skills and Qualifications**

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Food Sciences, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of beverage production.
- Knowledge of industry standards for food and beverage product quality, as well as regulatory requirements for food safety and environmental compliance.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Management within the food industry; experience in the beverage industry is preferred.
- 4 years of experience in people management and leadership.
- Advanced knowledge of ISO standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good command of English and Italian.
