**Data Engineering & Databricks Academy**
.
The Academy is designed for candidates who are at the beginning of their professional journey and are interested in building a career in
**Data Engineering, Cloud technologies and modern Data Platforms**
.
Participants will follow a structured training path combining theoretical foundations, practical activities and hands-on exercises, with a focus on technologies and methodologies used in modern Data Engineering environments.
We are looking for curious, motivated and analytical people who are eager to learn, develop their technical skills and grow within an international technology environment.
**Main learning areas:**
- Python programming for Data Engineering activities.
- SQL and relational database concepts.
- ETL and ELT processes.
- Data Warehouses and Data Lakes.
- Data pipelines and Data Quality.
- Batch and Streaming processing concepts.
- Cloud fundamentals, with a particular focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Modern Data Platforms and Databricks.
- Git and collaborative development practices.
- Practical exercises and use cases related to Data Engineering scenarios.
Requisiti:
**Requirements**- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or recent graduation, preferably in:
- Computer Science
- Computer Engineering
- Automation Engineering
- Data Science
- Mathematics
- Statistics
- Physics
- or other related STEM disciplines.
- Basic knowledge of Python, gained through university studies, personal projects, internships or other learning experiences.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, including concepts such as SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, HAVING and CTE.
- Basic theoretical understanding of Data Engineering concepts, such as ETL/ELT, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes and Data Pipelines.
- Basic familiarity with Cloud technologies. Knowledge of Microsoft Azure is considered a plus, while experience with AWS or Google Cloud is also welcome.
- Basic knowledge of Git, repositories, branches and collaborative development practices.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving attitude.
- Curiosity, motivation to learn and strong interest in Data Engineering and Cloud technologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of Italian is considered a plus, but is not mandatory.
