**About the Role**
AIIS is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead the analytical and operational delivery of a high-profile project portfolio. The successful candidate will oversee the full production cycle, including monthly reports, quarterly reports covering the Western Balkans, and ad hoc analytical briefs, and will act as the operational focal point for all requests arriving under the portfolio.
This is a hands-on managerial role. The person we are looking for does not simply supervise output; they design, build and continuously improve the tech-assisted workflows through which these products are researched, drafted, quality-controlled and delivered.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage end to end the analytical reporting portfolio, ensuring accuracy, consistency and on-time delivery of all products.
- Serve as the primary operational point of contact for the portfolio, receiving, prioritizing, scoping and delivering on all incoming requests.
- Design, implement and maintain tech-assisted workflows for media monitoring, press review compilation, translation, report drafting and formatting, and train team members in their use.
- Provide political analysis and editorial judgment on developments across the Western Balkans (WB6), with the ability to place news in its broader political, economic and security context.
- Plan and manage the project cycle for the portfolio, including timelines, resource allocation, internal coordination and reporting.
**Eligibility Criteria**
*All of the following are strict requirements; applications not meeting every criterion will not be considered.*
- A completed university degree in International Relations or a closely related field, with both the undergraduate degree and the Master’s degree obtained at universities in European countries outside Albania.
- Demonstrated knowledge of politics and current affairs, with proven professional experience covering the Western Balkans Six (WB6).
- Prior experience at managerial level, with responsibility for teams, deliverables or client relationships.
- Familiarity with AI tools and their use in workflow automation.
- Professional experience in media, such as journalism, media monitoring, editorial work or media analysis.
- Proven project management experience, including planning, delivery and reporting against deadlines.
- Fluency in Albanian, both written and spoken, at a level suitable for professional analysis
