Role Description: The Finance Manager will oversee all financial operations for String Albania, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and financial reporting. This full-time, on-site role based in Tirana, Albania involves managing cash flow, monitoring costs, supporting pricing decisions, and ensuring timely and accurate financial statements. The Finance Manager will coordinate with project teams to track revenue and expenses related to Odoo implementations, advise leadership on financial performance, and support strategic planning with data-driven insights. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising finance processes, maintaining compliance with local regulations and tax requirements, optimizing internal controls, and collaborating with external auditors and financial institutions as needed. The role also contributes to continuous improvement of financial systems and tools to support the company’s growth and service quality.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance with Albanian tax and regulatory requirements.
Experience working with ERP or business management software (Odoo experience highly preferred) and strong Excel skills.
Ability to interpret financial data for non-financial stakeholders and support strategic decision-making.
Proven skill in process improvement, internal controls, and optimizing financial workflows.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) are a plus.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a cross-functional, client-focused environment.
Fluency in Albanian and good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Prior experience in IT, consulting, or software implementation environments is beneficial.
