**About the job:**
**Senior/Mid AI Video Editor**
- We’re looking for a Senior/Mid AI Video Editor who can take ownership of a creative and turn it into an ad that actually performs.
- Not just something visually nice. Not just “aesthetic.” And definitely not someone who needs to be told what to do at every step.
- You should understand why an ad works, why it doesn’t, and what needs to change to make it better.
**What makes this role different?**
- Most of what we produce is generated, not filmed.
- AI UGC. AI avatars. AI animation. AI voice. AI B-roll.
- Real actors and traditional shoots are the exception, not the default.
- We’re looking for someone who can combine strong editing fundamentals, performance marketing thinking, creative judgment, and AI tools to produce ads that feel real, relatable, and scroll-stopping.
- If that sounds exciting rather than overwhelming, keep reading.
**What you’ll actually be doing**
• Own paid social creatives from brief to final export for Meta, TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms.
• Create and direct AI UGC — choosing the right characters, environments, voices, delivery, and visual style for the target audience.
• Build AI talking heads that actually feel human — casting the face, voice, personality, movement, and delivery instead of settling for the first acceptable generation.
• Generate realistic, organic-looking AI B-roll, product demonstrations, animations, and motion graphics instead of relying on generic stock footage.
• Prompt, re-prompt, and problem-solve until AI output looks believable enough to ship — not simply “good enough for AI.”
• Edit short-form and long-form performance ads, including talking heads, VSLs, UGC, animation-heavy concepts, and hybrid formats.
• Make independent creative decisions when something in the brief, script, or generated material doesn’t work visually.
• Work closely with Creative Directors and understand the strategy behind the creative instead of blindly following instructions.
• Use hooks, pacing, sound design, captions, B-roll, and visual structure intentionally to improve retention and conversion.
• Review your own work critically and catch problems before someone else has to point them out.
• Test new AI models, tools, and workflows — and turn successful experiments into repeatable processes.
• Deliver consistently and on time without sacrificing quality.
**What we expect from a Senior or Mid**
• Strong video editing fundamentals and a portfolio that proves it.
• Ability to work independently without constant direction or detailed feedback.
• Strong creative judgment. You should immediately notice when an avatar looks generic, a voice feels lifeless, B-roll doesn’t match, pacing feels weak, or an AI generation looks uncanny.
• Understanding of performance marketing fundamentals — hooks, retention, audience awareness, pain points, objections, and conversion.
• Ability to explain why a creative works or doesn’t work, rather than simply whether you like it.
• Strong Premiere Pro skills. After Effects and other creative tools are a big plus.
• Hands-on experience with AI image, video, and voice generation — and the ability to adapt quickly as better models appear.
• Ability to create scroll-stopping first 1–3 seconds and understand how important the opening is to the entire ad.
• Strong sense of pacing, sound design, and storytelling.
• High quality standards. You don’t ship something just because the AI technically generated it successfully.
• Speed and consistency without becoming careless.
• Clear communication and the ability to raise problems early.
• Ownership. If something looks bad, you fix it. If something doesn’t make sense, you ask. If you see an opportunity to improve the creative, you act on it.
**Bonus points if you**
• Have experience with tools like Higgsfield, Veo, Kling, Runway, Midjourney, ElevenLabs, HeyGen, or similar.
• Have worked specifically with DTC, performance marketing, or paid social advertising.
• Understand how Creative Directors and Media Buyers evaluate and iterate ads based on performance.
• Can study winning competitor creatives, understand why they work, and apply those principles without simply copying them.
• Have strong sound design and motion graphics skills.
• Can build new AI workflows and help raise the quality bar for other editors.
• Stay up to date with new AI models, advertising trends, and creative formats without someone telling you what to test.
**This is NOT the right role if**
• You need detailed instructions for every creative decision.
• You consistently miss deadlines or only communicate after something has already gone wrong.
• You blindly follow the brief even when something clearly doesn’t work.
• You submit AI generations with obvious mistakes because “that’s what the AI generated.”
• You focus only on making videos look cool instead of understanding the audience and what makes them convert.
• You settle for the first acceptable avatar, voice, or generation instead of pushing for something better.
• You see AI as a shortcut that replaces editing skill and creative judgment.
• You wait for reviewers to QC your work instead of reviewing it yourself.
**The Deal**
**Monthly salary starting from €1,600+, depending on experience and skill level.**
For exceptional candidates with strong performance marketing + AI experience, we’re open to discussing higher compensation.
We give our editors a lot of creative freedom — but that freedom comes with ownership and responsibility.
We work based on strategy, data, testing, and performance. As a Senior or Mid, you’re expected to contribute to that process, not just execute tasks.
If you’re a strong editor who understands performance, loves experimenting with AI, and wants to help define what the next generation of paid social ads looks like — let’s talk.
