Freelance Site Architect – Residential RenovationsAbout AlbNova
AlbNova provides residential renovation and fit-out services across Albania, including bathrooms, kitchens, flooring, tiling, pools, plumbing, electrical works and interior planning.
We are looking for a
**Freelance Site Architect**
to carry out property visits and prepare accurate renovation plans and designs for our projects.
The Role
This is a
**project-based freelance position**
, with payment agreed per completed property/assignment.
The architect will be responsible for:
- Visiting customer properties for assigned projects.
- Inspecting and measuring the existing space.
- Recording dimensions, photographs and relevant site conditions.
- Preparing accurate existing-condition plans.
- Creating proposed layouts and renovation designs for bathrooms, kitchens/kitchenettes, pools and other residential spaces.
- Identifying practical site constraints that may affect the proposed design.
- Preparing and submitting clear CAD/PDF drawings and measurements to AlbNova.
- Making reasonable revisions where measurements or project requirements require clarification.
- Coordinating with the AlbNova project lead when necessary.
Requirements
- **Bachelor's degree in Architecture or higher – required.**
- **Ability to carry out accurate on-site measurements and property surveys.**
- **Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent architectural drawing software.**
- **Ability to prepare clear floor plans, layouts and renovation drawings.**
- **Good understanding of residential construction and interior renovation.**
- **Ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines.**
- **Ability and willingness to travel to assigned properties.**
- **Albanian communication skills required; English is an advantage.**
Previous experience with
**bathroom, kitchen, interior or residential renovation projects**
is preferred.
A professional architectural licence is an advantage and may be required for assignments involving regulated design, approval or professional sign-off.
Contract
- This is a
**freelance / independent contractor role**
, not a fixed full-time position. Work is assigned on a project-by-project basis, and compensation is agreed per completed site survey and design package.
