**Role Description**
The Bartender role is a contract, hybrid position based in Tirana, with some work-from-home flexibility for tasks such as menu planning or training preparation. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and serving beverages, crafting cocktails according to company standards, and ensuring high-quality, timely service to guests. The Bartender maintains a clean and organized bar area, manages stock and inventory, and follows all safety, hygiene, and responsible service guidelines. The role also involves handling payments accurately, collaborating with the wider hospitality team, and supporting beverage menu execution and refinement in line with Alchemist Hospitality’s concepts.
**Qualifications**
- Strong Customer Service skills with a guest-focused mindset and the ability to create welcoming, memorable experiences.
- Clear and professional Communication skills, including active listening and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and guests.
- Sound Food & Beverage knowledge, including basic mixology, product familiarity, and adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
- Proficient Cash Handling skills, with accuracy in processing payments, closing checks, and reconciling cash and card transactions.
- Practical Bartending experience, including cocktail preparation, bar setup and breakdown, and operation of bar equipment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by venue operations.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and capacity to perform in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
- Prior experience in bars, restaurants, or hotels is preferred; relevant training or certification in bartending or hospitality is an advantage.
